Firmware Upgrade Instructions
Note: The following steps must be taken using a PC running Windows XP.
- Ensure the target board is listed in the Supported Boards table below.
- Using the Windows Control Panel, uninstall any previous versions of FlexGUI.
- Download and install the latest FlexGUI release package (Version 8.01).
- Connect the board to an available COM or USB port on your computer.
- Apply power to the board.
- Launch the software.
- Follow on-screen command firmware update prompts.
- Turn off power to the board.The firmware update is now complete, and the target board is now able to be used with FlexGUI Version 8.00 on a PC running any of the supported operating systems.
- Repeat steps 5 and 6 to use the FlexGUI on the presently connected PC.
