Products and Supply Chain

At Cirrus Logic, we believe upholding high standards of ethics and sustainability across our supply chain helps us build resilience to business, regulatory, and environmental risks while also creating lasting value for our stakeholders. We maintain solid relationships with our suppliers and work with them closely to deliver high quality products, build customer loyalty, and limit reputational risks.

Our Fabless Production Model

Cirrus Logic's fabless production model enables us to focus on designing innovative products while minimizing fixed costs and capital expenditures. To support this model, our teams build and maintain long-term supplier relationships and are responsible for package development, test program development, and quality assurance.

Supply Chain Management

While Cirrus Logic outsources the manufacturing of our products, we hold ourselves and our suppliers to a high standard of professional conduct. Focus is placed on supply chain due diligence within our manufacturing process to identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks. As part of this effort, Cirrus Logic is an affiliate member of the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA), an industry coalition dedicated to corporate social responsibility in global supply chains. We publicly declare our support for the RBA Code of Conduct and implement appropriate due diligence in line with its standards through effective management systems.

Cirrus Logic’s Supplier Code of Conduct incorporates the RBA’s Code of Conduct, along with additional customer-driven requirements related to labor, health and safety, environment, ethics, and management systems. Our primary suppliers are required to acknowledge their obligation to comply with all standards communicated in our Supplier Code of Conduct. We periodically reevaluate and update this code to address emerging risks, regulatory developments, and evolving customer expectations.

In addition, all of the company’s foundries, assembly, and test suppliers maintain ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certificates. This demonstrates their commitment to high environmental standards and responsible management of associated environmental impacts.

Supplier Engagement

Cirrus Logic’s Sustainable Supply Chain Due Diligence Governance program provides a structured and objective framework for assessing the performance of our foundry, assembly, and test suppliers' performance, identifying potential risks, and highlighting opportunities for improvement. The program is built on two pillars:

Risk Assessment

Risk Assessment

The first pillar leverages the RBA’s Validated Assessment Program (VAP) standard for on-site supplier compliance assessments, which are conducted by independent third-party audit firms. These audits produce in-depth evaluations of each supplier, benchmarking their practices against the RBA Code of Conduct.

Sustainability Expectation

Sustainability Expectation

The second pillar evaluates supplier alignment to Cirrus Logic’s sustainability requirements through a risk-based approach to due diligence and compliance monitoring. Under this program, suppliers are required to track and report annual data on electricity use, renewable energy, and water consumption, and demonstrate emissions reductions over time.

Our cross-functional business review teams use these two pillars to assess supplier risk levels and allocate performance scores through objective scorecards. We monitor supplier performance and improvement on an ongoing basis to reinforce accountability and measure progress. We conduct on-site sustainability assessments for our higher-risk suppliers, engaging directly with management teams to identify gaps, support improvement planning, and secure corrective action commitments as needed.

Supply Chain Ethics

Cirrus Logic is committed to the highest standards of product quality and business integrity in all relationships with its third-party suppliers. Cirrus Logic also commits to ensuring that working conditions throughout our supply chain are safe, that workers are treated with respect and dignity, and that manufacturing processes are environmentally and socially responsible. We are committed to acting in an ethical manner, with integrity and transparency in all business dealings. We share our current 2025 Anti-Slavery Statement below, and you can also review our prior 2022, 2023, and 2024 statements.

Responsible Sourcing

Cirrus Logic collaborates closely with our supply chain partners to support responsible sourcing of materials. Each year, to be transparent, we leverage our membership in the Responsible Minerals Initiative to prepare a Conflict Minerals Report that summarizes our due diligence efforts. You can read more in our current Conflict Minerals Report.

Product Responsibility

Cirrus Logic is committed to prohibiting and restricting the use of certain hazardous substances in the design and manufacturing of our semiconductors. We conform to applicable regulatory requirements including EU RoHS and EU REACH compliance to minimize environmental impacts.
