High performance 4-channel analog-to-digital converter
The CS5304P is a 4-channel audio ADC providing 32-bit resolution at a rate of up to 768kHz. The CS5304P’s integrated hybrid gain control feature reduces the external pre-amp control circuitry, offering a reduced BOM and simplified design when compared with alternative solutions. The CS5304P is ideal for applications that require a combination of both high performance and low power, offering >120 dB dynamic range and THD+N below -110 dB, all within a 25 mW/ch power budget.

Selection Guidelines
The CS5304P should be selected when:
- Minimizing audio pop and/or click is critical.
- Synchronizing multiple audio input channels is required.
- Limited engineering resources are available to design your audio product.
- Low latency (4.5/fs) is required across multiple channels
The CS5304P should not be selected when:
- An integrated PGA is required in your audio ADC. In this case the CS48L32 should be considered.
- An SPI interface is required for the output data.
- A tight absolute gain drift (better than 100 ppm/degC) is required.
- Designing a battery power product with a small form factor (TWS headsets, mobile phones). In this case the CS48L32 should be considered.
The primary application for the CS5304P is Digital Mixing Consoles. The CS5304P is placed directly after an input line and/or mic-pre gain stage, converting analog audio, providing data output to FPGAs/DSPs and MCUs.
Additional relevant applications include: DAW (digital audio workstation) interfaces, USB Audio interfaces, audio interfaces, musical instruments, powered amplifiers, audio DSPs, networked amplifiers, audio IO peripherals, effects processors, audio receivers, video receivers, professional loudspeakers, doppler ultrasound, automotive audio amplifiers, wired and wireless headsets.
